Race for the Cure ® Academy Event:
In honor of Greystone's participation in the Race for the Cure ® on October 9th, 2010, the academy will be selling PINK TaeKwonDo belts to be worn during the week of September 27th through October 2nd during class times. These belts are a way for EVERY student to show their support for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®!!
Greystone will be selling these belts at the front desk for $16. The deadline for placing your order is Saturday, September 4th! So get your orders in quickly! All proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Maybe you know someone or have a member of your family that has faced Breast Cancer. Wear a PINK BELT during this special week to show that you care and you want to JOIN the FIGHT!

Bert Kollars is a Tiger-Rock Martial Arts International (previously referred to as ITA) 9th Degree Grandmaster. Now living in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, he has studied TaeKwonDo, HanMuDo & other Arts for 40 years. GM Kollars is dedicated to lifelong learning, honoring Martial Art heritage and innovation, raising his family and using Tiger-Rock Martial Arts and volunteer service to improve our communities. Greystone is honored have Grand Master Bert Kollars in Birmingham for this event. Join us!
Student Artistic Seminars are open to all Tiger-Rock Members, White through Black Belts.
• Junior Student Seminar: 9:00am to 10:15am
• Adult Student Seminar: 10:30am to 12:30am
• Instructor Seminar: 1:30pm
• Rank & Instructor Testing: 5pm
Student Seminar Fee: $29 / Instructor Seminar Fee: $75

Greystone Taekwondo will now offer Family Classes on Monday and Friday Nights from 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm!

CONGRATULATIONS GREYSTONE!!!
The 2009 ITA State Championship Tournament held in November was a great success!
Thank you to EVERYONE for their participation!
We would like to offer a special "Congratulations" to the students selected to be on the 2009 Greystone TaeKwonDo Academy "Dream Team". Every year, each school selects ten students to compete as a group for the "Dream Team" Trophy. This trophy is won by the team that has the highest combined points.
While we wish every one of our students could be on the Greystone "Dream Team" (because our success is reflected in each and every one of you) we want to give a special thanks to the following Dream Team Members for 2009: Chryseis Griffin, Aaron Barrick, Parrish Spates, Will Sorrell, Colby Kunkel, Rachel Robb, Jim Harbour, Joshua Whitley, Katie Wilkinson and Juan Antonio Villa. Because of their efforts, Greystone TKD finally came home with the 2009 Dream Team Trophy!!!
